She doesn’t look like a woman in her eighties, so she is far from being an OAP. She doesn’t have even an eighth of the wrinkles Gordon has on his forehead, she has the professionalism to not speak like an insecure vile pig, and the guts to confront it. If she didn’t it would send the message out to all women who tolerate abusive remarks from men as something women must shrug off and tolerate as acceptable. Those that attack women who defend sexist abuse are also chauvinistic pigs.
When Shilpa Shetty was insulted & treated in a disrespectful way, naturally there was outrage. Gordon’s unprofessional remarks would cause many guys to get sacked if done in a workplace, how many people would feel comfortable at being called an “Old Ugly Pig” on national TV? What is funny in it? It’s sad people further attack the MANY women who have complained about such offensive slurs. Some guys think women should accept abuse like doormats, those who think it’s ok go say it to their mother
