This man Bourdain brings things out in me,
Sparks my imagination and makes me long for things I never knew I cared about,
Just by the way he tells the story.
nice spelling of ripert wise man, and sure, Ripert is a good chef, and you can have an opinion, but saying Keller is cocky is truly a pathetic statement. That you can’t come to yourself properly, and deciding to attack one of the greatest icons in American cusine, is sad, and truly pitiful.

Thomas Kellers reputation was hanging and still is hanging by a thread because the chefs in this show Scott Brian Eric Repirt and Anthony Bourdain have made themselves very successful and the food is good but I would have to say I have dined at Eric Rouperts place its dog on better then kellers because Kellers food is good but at the same time I wish he wasnt so cocky about his food now.
No where th the moment.
The Economic problems in the US have hit the Food and Hospitality industry VERY hard, and work is EXTREMELY hard to come by.
Right now I am doing freelance catering and private work… when it can be found.
Where u working now?
In a few years when my children are older, I just may do that.
WOrking with Chef Keller would be a truly amazing experience.
I am extremely talented in my own right, but the great thing about being a CHhef, is that there is ALWAYS so much more to learn and experiment with.
I think u SHOULD do this and keep us posted!
It is VERY hard to be accepted into his kitchen under his tutelage.
And no, I have not gotten to train or work with Chef Keller, but I hope to do it one day, and I have a plan.
I will stand in front of his restaurant and starve if need be, and work for him for free, just to get him to mentor me.

Keller intimidates the SHIT out of me, and I would give BOTH my nuts to train with him.

Ya, well he inspired the entire industry in the late 90′s, and like anything great, other ppl will always try to copy/take from others.
By the way, how was his food when you dined there? Is it still good and worth going?
I went there for my birthday and he made me I am not making this shit up 30 courses of food and they all surprised me its so good but now his menu sadly is kind of over priced cuz when they filmed this segment keller was unique with his high end ingrediants and plating but now its over cuz other places copied it and made it better.
It’s real. I feel sorry for those of you who never dined at The French Laundry.

Truly a place to die for… literally. Every single dish was absolutely droolworthy. Even that cig/coffee dish made specially for Bourdain.. lol!
Absolutely delicious, those dishes. And Keller is a true genius. And the FL never looked so beautiful. They’re very lucky!
